Is it worth the price at getmycricut .com?
Yes, yes, and yes. I’ve used this thing for so many things it’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve found that it has definitely saved money in the long run and I get to customize my clothes, birthday cards and everything else too. You name it, anything from tissue boxes, to helping a teacher friend decorate her classroom. And if it’s safety you’re worried about? It’s totally safe. My daughter is only 8 and I let her use getmycricut .com all the time. I am not concerned. It can’t really hurt you.

Jean Jackets – You can see some cool designs at getmycricut .com too, but first thing is taking a look into your closet. A lot of girls don’t even realize they have a jean jacket stuck back in there. Luckily these jackets have really made a comeback, especially when you use really cool designs. It may sound surprising, but there are even designs for guys too. I once created a Green Bay Packer Rhinestone jacket with my getmycricut .com.
Hair Clips – From scrunchees to denim clips, you can use anything and they will look great in your hair. You may want to add a little extra glue since you may be sweating and stuff, but the getmycricut .com is pretty good about staying attached to objects, even leather. There are a ton of desing ideas, but my favorite is just using one color bead like pink or something and covering the hair clip in it or impress your friends with a fancy design. This is a great things for mothers and daughters to do together. Fathers and sons too, at least it’s a good idea for the ladies in their life.
Jeans – Probably my favorite is decorating my jeans. These aren’t your mother’s jordaches. These are really hip and cool jeans. Designer jeans can be extremely expensive, so imagine taking a pair of $25 jean and turning them into a pair of $250 jeans? It almost already pays for itself with one pair. The coolest thing is that you can take a design that YOU create and apply it to your own jeans. My daughter and I have about 3 different designs we like to use on our jean jackets and jeans that we model for the family at (what we call) the Family Fashion Shows. It’s so much fun. I have my parents over and we play hip music in the background and set up a fashion stage in the living room. I always try to get my daughters friends involved, but they don’t come around that often anymore. I guess that’s part of being an 18 year old. Luckily she can use all of these newly designed jackets and jeans at college next year. In fact I think I’m going to getmycricut .com to get her a new one for her dorm next year. That brings me to the next topic…
Room Décor – You’d be surprised if you realized how dull and bland your house was in comparison to mine. I mean, we have a vivacious and exciting drapes covered in rhinestones and beads. It’s like a cross between a gypsy and Indian culture-styled. I’m pretty sure all of my friends lose their breath as soon as they walk in the door. It’s like when you first see the taj mahal or go to the zoo for the first time. It’s just totally new to them. Well, in terms of my drapes I get my designs from getmycricut .com and I use some of my own designs. I have one design that I just love of a mallard in the ocean that I use for my jeans and even on a leather jacket (that’s right, you can use it on leather too). I’ve found most people like to just keep it simple with a simple vertical design, but I say why not a silhouette of Conway Twitty in your living room? It looks even neater than you think, by the way!
Leather – I’m a bit of a biker and if there’s one thing I noticed right away it’s that other bikers have the most boring leather jackets. They are just black and boring with nothing on them, except for a few guys that hang out by the Gas Station that have an “Outlaws” patch on but I don’t think they’re very nice. If you’re going to have a design it should be nice and fun at the same time. You won’t believe it (ok you will), but I used my mallard in the ocean design for my leather jacket and I’m working on a leather gas tank cover that I will have designed with (you guessed it)… diamond studded mallard duck in the ocean. Oh boy, I’m so excited.
